Puerto Banus lies about 40km southwest of Malaga and the airport, between Marbella and San Pedro and is home to some of the most impressive yachts in the world.

There are a wide variety of bars, restaurants and designer shops along the water-front at Muelle Rivera in Puerto banus. Puerto Banus nightlife is well known among celebrities, and there are several bars, clubs and pubs that stay open until early morning.

The beach is at the north of the town and is called Playa Lavante. It is long and wide and very clean.

There are nine 18-hole golf courses near Puerto Banus and one 9-hole golf course within a 10km radius with lighting facilities for playing at night. Some of these are considered to be the best in Europe.
