Albufeira is located on the Algarve about 40km west of Faro airport. The transfer time being about one hour. Albufeira is one of Portugal's most popular resorts, with seven beautiful beaches.

The old town still has a very traditional feel with narrow streets and white washed houses, but Albufeira has developed into a tourist resort with excellent facilities. The two beaches at Albufeira and Praia d’Oura are long stretches of golden sand and offer a variety of watersports, there are also many other smaller and quieter bays to explore.

After a day in the sun, the nightlife is fantastic with lots of lively bars clubs and a casino nearby in Vilamoura. Other attractions include golf and a marine park in Guia.
