St Paul's Bay is situated on the northeast coast of the island between St Julian's and Mellieha. It lies about 20km from Valletta and the airport with a transfer time of between one hour and one and a half hours.

St Paul's Bay is Malta's largest popular summer resort and can be divided into four areas, Xemxija, The Old Town, Bugibba and Qawra. Of these, the main areas are Bugibba and Qawra, both fronted by seafront promenades and apartment buildings.

St Paul's Bay has shelving rocks where you can sunbathe, the water is deep, but clean, clear and safe for bathing. Sandy beaches are all within 5km.

There are a good variety of cafes and restaurants, serving everything from traditional Maltese cuisine to international dishes. Bugibba is the main hub of activity at night with karaoke bars and discos.
