The area of Bugibba lies on a 5km stretch of St Paul's Bay. It is 15km from Valletta and the airport with a transfer time of about an hour.

It is one of the largest resorts in the area and one of the most popular, it has good nightlife, a cinema, bingo hall and even a casino. Bugibba has a wide range of restaurants and cafes serving everything from traditional English dishes to Maltese specialities. The nightlife is lively, with a multitude of bars and clubs to cater for those with an appetite for a party.

Bugibba’s beach is rocky and consists of romantic, little coves. The nearest sandy beaches are about 8km away at Mellieha Bay and further afield in Golden Bay. The entire area is great for watersports.
