Kardamena is about 20km from Kos Town and about 8km from the airport.

Kardamena offers beautiful sandy beaches with a variety of water sports, such as bananaboats, rings, jet ski's, parasailing and pedalos. The resort is great for all ages, with activities and entertainment to suit everyone. The main part of the resort is based around the harbour with many bars and restaurants being situated on the sea front. There are clubs to cater for all musical tastes, with many open until early in the morning.

There is plenty of shopping to be had in Kardamena, from expensive designer clothes to souvenir shops. For a more cultural time, there are many interesting archaeological treasures to be seen, such as the Temple of Apollo, the early Christian Basilicas and the Ancient Theatre.
