Situated towards the south of Lanzarote about 10 km away from the airport, Puerto del Carmen is by far the liveliest resort on the island.
It is an ideal base from which to explore the main tourist attractions on the island and Arrecife, whilst also having something to please everyone within the resort itself.
There are many restaurants and bars, and also karaoke and late night discos and clubs. Great for a quiet meal or dancing until dawn.
Puerto del Carmen has an excellent sweep of sand that shelves gently into the generally calm sea, making it ideal for families.
