Costa Teguise lies only about 5km northeast of the capital, Arrecife, about 15km from the airport.

It is a perfect resort for watersports enthusiasts, especially windsurfing. For the less active there are four small beaches and one main beach, all with great sand and clear waters.

Costa Teguise offers a wide choice of restaurants, pizzerias and bars, mainly in centre. The nightlife is low key and more suited to an evening meal and relaxing drink in a bar.

There are plenty of shops selling everything from local souveniers to good quality leather wear, and also a weekly market selling craft and local goods.
